People who have worn lenses for a long time: SMILE Lasik is possible vs. not possible?!

We do not determine surgery based on the duration you have worn lenses.
However, for an accurate examination before surgery, there is a period during which you must stop wearing lenses in advance, so be sure to follow it!

Contact Lens Discontinuation Period Before Vision Correction Surgery Examination
- Soft lenses: At least 3 days *at least 5 days if for surgery
- Hard lenses: At least 5 days *at least 7 days if for surgery
- Ortho-K lenses: At least 1 month

For example, if you are currently wearing soft lenses and plan to have an examination and same-day surgery this Saturday, discontinue wearing lenses for 5 days from Monday to Friday.

Contact Lens Care GUIDE
V Wash hands before touching lenses
V Always clean before wearing
V Adhere to lens replacement schedule and wearing time
V Check for lens damage

Even if you have worn contact lenses for a long time, you can keep your eyes healthy with proper lens care. Improper lens usage habits can lead to corneal inflammation, scratches, or dry eyes
