It's the 10th day since my nose surgery!!!
It's been 10 days since my nose surgery!!
I had my nose bridge and tip done!!
First of all, the ladies at the desk and the nurses were all very kind and gentle, so I felt a bit more at ease when I lay down on the operating table.
It's only been 10 days, but I barely have any bruising, so I don't think I worried about when the bruises would go away haha. I had eye surgery 3 years ago, and it swelled a lot, and I couldn't take time off work, so I was really worried about swelling and bruising... to the point where I regretted it and felt stressed.
But here, only the cheek area around my nose had a slight bruise, and it seemed to disappear in about 5 days... Honestly, I didn't even pay attention to the bruising lololol. I wondered when it went away lololol. The swelling is still slightly present on my nose bridge, but it's going down rapidly day by day. I didn't even do the cold/hot compresses very diligently because of work lololol.
When it was swollen, I thought, 'Ah, I wish it was higher... what a shame,' but once the swelling went down, 'Whoa! lolololololol'.
Before the surgery, when viewed from the front, it didn't feel completely flat, so my mom told me not to do it, and my friends also told me not to, saying it was fine as is, but my side profile was just too flat, and my face lacked dimension, which was very stressful for me. I even deliberated for about 2 years before getting the surgery. I had such a hard time with my eye surgery, and this was different from eye surgery...
After the surgery, I felt a lot of heat, my heart was pounding like crazy, I thought it would hurt a lot even with a slight touch, and I had all sorts of thoughts and worries, but... What is this...? It's manageable...? That's what I thought haha. I only thought, 'Wow, this doesn't feel like my nose,' but it didn't really hurt when I touched it. However, sleeping is a bit of a struggle. I have to breathe only through my mouth, and since my mouth gets dry, I wake up periodically to drink water haha.
The director (surgeon) also continuously takes great care of me during every follow-up. This is truly amazing!!!! He's meticulous and thorough, so the incision site is clean, and he said the scar will disappear quickly!!
